At this age, the little ones enter a crucial stage of development, and our teachers ensure they work continually on building foundational skills in key areas:

• Language and Communication – Expanding vocabulary through engagement and teaching toddlers to follow simple instructions.

• Social and Emotional Development – Toddlers are still taught to share ideas and can now start to learn to take turns. They are encouraged to express their emotions through words instead of actions. In the Kitten and Penguin classes, they are also encouraged to gain independence by learning to do things for themselves.

• Cognitive Skills – Now we start learning about shapes, colours and counting!

• Physical Development – We work hard on both gross and fine motor skills. Toddlers enjoy physical activities such as running, jumping and climbing. They also do creative art where they learn to hold and use crayons.

• Self-Help Skills – In the Kitten and Penguin classes, little ones start potty training and also learn how to wash hands independently.

• Creative Exploration – The little ones sing songs and dance every day to encourage creative exploration.
